This is a custom designed, 3D printed part for the Chevy Bolt (2017-2021). The Bolt has a pocket in the center console for wireless charging a cell phone. However, the pocket has large bumps in it to press the phone to one side for more efficient charging. This prevents many modern phones, especially in cases, from fitting at all.
This replacement pocket takes seconds to swap in with no tools (just pull the existing rubber liner out and insert this one in its place).
I 3D print these pockets in flexible TPU plastic, so they won't damage your phone. It will now fit a phone up to 78mm wide. In the photos, there is a Motorola Z3 Play and an iPhone XR. Both fit easily - the iPhone XR even fits in a thin hard case.
The wireless charging should still work, but less reliably since the phone isn't being pressed against the side of the pocket. Personally, I have my phone plugged in for Android Auto, so I disabled the wireless charging (there's a fuse you can pull under the dashboard). This prevents any messages popping up on the screen due to the wireless charging working or not.
