Vtg Jane Poirier Bowl Hand Painted Terrier Dog 'J'aime en Silence' France.  Delightful Jane Poirier porcelain bowl of a terrier in very good condition. It measures 7" in diameter and is 1.5" in height.  Fingertip of paint overlay on edge otherwise no chips, cracks or crazing.  'J'aime en Silence' translates akin to "I like silence."  Hand painted. This is the first time I've seen a terrier only french poodles and pugs prior.  Back has writing of address in France, MADE IN FRANCE and hand painted in French with artist's signature.  Also encised with PORCELAINE 6 and A FEU.  Bowl is glazed except for bottom.  Disregard photographic light shadows on pics.
